One of the few times I did that thorough a prelim! I usually can't wait - Eagle eyes can probably tell when something looks awkward in my art, it's from lack of preparation! - but this time the commission was so ambitious I simply couldn't screw up. One of my greatest experience to this date. I had so much fun do it.

Great piece. I think it works better than the final. The more limited palette helps unify it IMHO.

This looks like a final already! Stephene, I have to be honest, I like the drawing in your prelim better than the final (the rendering in the final is killer though). Artimis' head is too small in the final. This comes from a guy that draws big headed characters though....
